| Galeon Breaks Ground for New Strength Restoration and Rehabilitation Center On May 23, 2007, a large crowd turned out to participate in ground breaking ceremonies for Galeon’s new $3.5 million construction project. The 29,000 square foot project will add a new Strength Restoration and Rehabilitation Center and will also include and an assisted living facility specifically designed to serve older adults with memory loss and other special needs. Galeon (formerly Community Memorial Homes) is committed to providing its residents with the chance to grow stronger. Speaking at the groundbreaking, Administrator Dave Carlson said, “Our goal is to create options for seniors that empower them with opportunities to achieve the highest quality of life they can.” Age Dynamics provided consulting support for the new Strength Restoration and Rehabilitation Center which will have a warm water pool, fully-equipped cardio-strength/rehab area and a large multi-purpose studio for group exercises, aerobics, education and other uses. |
